Why Supplemental Protection?

If Supplemental Insurance sounds like extra insurance to you, you're right. Why would you want more insurance? Simple-- Your primary health insurance, covers only some of the costs you would face with an injury, illness, hospital stay or worse. Many costs related to injuries or illnesses are not medical.

Things like:

  • loss of income from not being able to work
  • everyday expenses like mortgage/rent, car payments, childcare, even food and utilities
  • travel and lodging expenses while seeking care
  • unpaid/not covered medical bills - co-pays, deductibles, co-insurance percentage

Supplemental insurance serves as a financial safety net, providing cash benefits paid directly to you for unexpected emergencies.

Chubb is the marketing name used to refer to subsidiaries of Chubb Limited providing insurance services. The supplemental products offered are underwritten by Combined Insurance Company of America and ACE American Insurance.

Chubb Lifetime Benefit Term Insurance

Life Insurance provides your beneficiaries with a cash death benefit if you're gone. Lifetime Benefit Term is term life insurance that lasts a lifetime and you can use it while you're living. If you ever need money to help pay home health care, assisted living or nursing home care expenses, a portion of the death benefit can be applied to these costs. Since most of us are living longer, it's definitely something to consider.

Chubb Income Protector (Disability Insurance)

Income Protector is like insurance for your paycheck, providing a cash portion of your income if you can't work due to an injury, accident or illness.

It's important to think about how you might handle a worst case scenario financially if you're not able to work. Do you have emergency savings? Is it enough? Rent, mortgage, car payments, childcare - all your everyday expenses - continue even if you're not earning a paycheck. Income Protector provides a safety net with a Monthly Benefit up to 60% of your income.
